Personal Opinion: I really enjoyed this book for my personal leisure, although it wasn't my favorite.
Book Review: The main charachter of "Confetti Girl" is Lina. Lina's mother just passed away, and is unhappily left with her geeky father. Lina and her friend, Venessa, do everything together, unless it comes to boys. Venessa's mom is anti-men, so Venessa has to hide her secret boyfriend, Carlos, from her. Lina feels like Carlos has replaced her, which really makes Lina upset. Venessa officially crosses the line when she sets up a time for she and Carlos to talk on the phone at Lina's house. Can Lina balance herself between all of the madness in school, Venessa's secret keeping, a geeky father, and the depression of her mother passing away?
